SUPPLYING A FINISHED MASTER
If you decide to get your CD mastered at a professional studio other
than MUSIC MANUFACTURING SERVICES, please take the time to make
sure your audio master meets all our specifications. This will save
you serious time and money!
MASTERING SPECIFICATIONS
Playing Time
The maximum guaranteed playing time is 78 minutes including space
(silence).
Tracks
- Maximum number = 99
- Maximum time limit for each track = 4 seconds
- Maximum number of index points (subdivisions within a track) = 99
- Average space between tracks = 2 to 4 seconds
Format
MUSIC MANUFACTURING SERVICES can accept your audio master in many
digital formats. Click on each for further information:
ISRC Codes
If you want International Standard Recording Codes (ISRC) on your final CD, you must include them on your master, or ask about insertion of ISRC codes by the MUSIC MANUFACRING SERVICES mastering studio.
Track Sheet
Your master must be accompanied by a detailed track sheet including the artist name, name of album, track names, timings, and International Standard Recording Codes (ISRC codes), where applicable.
