ISBN Bar Codes
If you plan to sell your audio book in stores, we recommend having an EAN barcode with an ISBN number. The International Standard Book Numbering (ISBN) code is an ID system for books and other media not unlike a UPC barcode. ISBN now includes calendars, spoken word audiocassettes, videocassettes, and electronic media. Virtually every item sold in a traditional bookstore needs, and uses, an ISBN.
